On July 4th, the modern world as it is today, was born. Via succession from the British Empire, America (the grouping of colonies along the East Coast) set forth a path that is undeniable, allowing for a new era in human history to come forth. From 1776 on, (August iirc when the Declaration was adopted by the continental congress), nothing could have described the scope to which this single act would encapsulate. Never in less than 250 years, has any civilization / era, been able to break powered flight, traveled to other heavenly bodies, fostered science beyond all imagination, humanities that resonnate worldwide to this day and so much more.

Kyle, correct me if I'm wrong here. But whenyou buy a CD or download a song legally (say, off iTunes, paid for), you buy the right to that song, not just the disk itself. So you are allowed to put it on multiple products. So apple is making the assumption that their users have purchased the data legally. And unlike napster, Apple allows access to purchase these songs, so they can claim that they expect all of these files to be obtained legally.

I also think that this is an awesome idea that is much along the lines of programs such as STEAM and the current Battle.net. Which allows you to load the games/programs/files that you already own onto any of your other devices. The problem is obviously the lack of CD key verification as proof of purchase. But it offers a huge convenience. Move songs between desktop and laptop automatically without having to setup the downloads yourself, for example.

But I do see the potential legal issues here. I want Kyle (maybe Karina if she sees this) to elaborate, if possible.

It's good that evil is gone, it's good whenever an enemy combatant / regime of danger is off'd. But we shouldn't be celebrating his death, but thanking god for the men and women in the military services (both here and who have given the ultimate sacrifice + their families) and praying for the families of those who lost in 9/11.
