Oh weak, well I looked into the official announcement. I guess they do not attack earth in this one.(the rumors said they would). You look for clues about how they will attack and how to stop them. I'll still get it any way.

I just wet myself.

I love the entire ME universe/series.  Played through ME2 5 times now, each time with minor plot differences and new missions I never saw.  Bioware == god.

I cannot wait for ME3.  Will be sad when it's "over" though :(

I read one of them, I believe it was the detailed Saren's mission as a spectre, way before ME1.  I left the damn book on an airplane few years back and never bought it again.  May have to see if I can find it and re-read...the whole ME universe is pretty well laid out.  Very awesome stuff.

So, is it just me or is the "Adept" class completely useless in ME2?  Used to be completely baller in ME1, but they nerfed singularity and other powers too much in ME2.  Beating the game on insanity was ridiculously hard with my adept, even fully leveled and maxed out.  Found that my two favorite classes in ME2 are the Vanguard and Soldier.

Thoughts?

Yeah I like soldier too. I just cant stand not having an assualt rifle. I thought me 2 had better combat, but I liked me 1's story. Martin Sheen is a bad ass though :)

I still think one of the best  :o conversations in the game was after Grunts loyalty stuff, when Shepard goes to talk with him, and Grunt starts talking about a memory about fighting a bunch of Turians, and using a knife to remove parts of their faces (lovely, I know) "And then I realized it Shepard.  I.  Hate.  Turians.  I hate Turians!"
...
...
...good job?  Yay hate?
I was half expecting him to run out to Garrus (interrupting his calibrations, no less!) and start trying to rip the rest of his face off or something.

Haha yeah...Grunt's character as a whole is a great one in general.  Simple story of an 'orphan' trying to relearn his heritage and why he is what he is.  Always ends with hilarity.  I wonder what they will do with his storyline in ME3...

Grunt for sure.  The comments were hilarious and definitely him more enjoyable.  Wrex's backstory was good though.  One thing I wondered however:  If you chose to kill Wrex in ME1, what the heck happens in ME2?  I don't have any character saves from ME1 where I killed Wrex on Virmire...
