old thread, but yeah I bought it for 360, within 10 minutes of playing it, I immediately ejected from the console and off to gamestop to trade in. Picked up Apache Air Assault instead and have been contempt with that game. Brink was too much like a Unreal Tournament/Team Fortress clone that just plain sucked balls.

On the note of cross platforming, DJ is correct, they tried it initially when the xbox first came out. PC vs Console in Mech Warrior 4...Guess who dominated? PCs of course. I remember listening to that match on TSN (Team Sportscast Network) when they were around broadcasting gaming/clan matches.

Brink sucked, UT3 is boss. I love Unreal.

Brink was definitely not the game i was hoping for. I had a lot higher expectations for it.

Exactly. The hype was TOTALLY there and it flopped... Very disappointed but still played it fully when I got it. Hopefully they can expand on the idea and make it better for Brink 2 (if there will be one)
