So far, we have 3 songs Channy would annoy use with lol  So we miss Channy being annoying?  Cuz he's always annoying...

I miss Wacky Weekends.  More so, being part of the server side stuff.  I was never really a big part of the NS community but I would come on and have a blast!  Turning on/off mods, maintaining admin and levels and turning on/off Wacky Weekend stuff.  Was never a kind of guy who knew server side stuff so being taught all that stuff was so much fun.

I loved helping run all the servers.  Wacky Weekend in particular was the best.  I really got deep in to the NS mod scene back then...sigh good times.  I don't see NS2 getting that nuts for awhile though.  No one is going to go crazy with real plugins until the damn game is finished.  Whenever that is :(

It really was a great time, and I miss it.  As sad as it is, those days of NS back in college (for me) were some of the best gaming days of my life!  And that includes competitive CS and all that.  We all just had so much fun playing NS that it's unfortunate the community died.  I'd love to resurrect "Darwin" and do Wacky Weekends (hell I think I have the majority of maps/plugins somewhere still) but I don't think anyone would give a crap nowadays.

But Wacky Weekends were the best. Playing on Turnip's maps with complete chaos, no organization or communication and still winning... AND don't forget NUTTER the great drunk nights. Then Matt... oh the good times.

It's me, Xeno. Just wanted to check back in here and see how everyone was doing.

Sucks to hear that NS isn't being played much anymore. I don;t have a computer that can run NS2 yet, but I hope to soon. How is NS2 btw? Is it a worthy successor?

I'm glad everyone has fond memories of Wacky Weekend. I was honestly scared crapless the first time I put it on. I wasn't sure if people were going to like it or not. Plus it was my first time putting those types of mods onto a server. I have no idea what I was doing, lol. I still to this day had no idea how to get rid of the no_clip variable. No-clip on siege maps would have been a disaster, so I changed it to the 5 minutes with Xeno one, haha. So when you get that, you were supposed to get no_clip.

Those were great times for me, trying to do find new mods. Anyone remember Gorgezilla? I think it was called that anyways. 1 person turned into a massive Gorge and he had like friendly lerks? My mind is blurry about that. That was fun.

It wasn't? I honest to God can't find it. I guess I can stick with this one, but my old one would be nice.

I remember my old username being Xeno though. If it wasn't deleted, I shouldn't be able to use this one, lol.
