Well, hello all you who read this post!

So, I kinda want to make my mark on the new IAM and start up a League of Legends division. I play (all the time), and Madcat and I have successfully recruited a buncha members who play regularly to become IAMERS. Well, I AMers, before, but we're working on the switch. ANYWAY, I volunteer to make the necessary arrangements and to be all leadery and such. I am kind of a natural leader (*gloat*) and I am passionate about the game and my players. I'd be down for some co-leadery thing too, if people don't want me to have ULTIMATE POWER!!!!!!! Ahem.

And for all those who will bash LoL and say it's all awful and stuff...well, I just started playing HoN and I kind of don't really get it. But, I am trying! And you can be awesome and open-minded like me and try LoL. And if you hate it? Well, then at least you can give me educated reasons why. And if you love it? Then you can hop on board and join our pre-made teams. And if you're ambivalent? Play anyway and be awesome and social. Word.


So, give us a shout if you want to make that happen. And if you don't have an opinion, then be supportive and say you want a LoL division so you don't have to hear me girl-whine all over Mumble.

Thanks, friend. You'd hear more than Mumble girl-whining since you live in the same house as me. I'd REAL IN-PERSON WHINE all over the place.

I don't play LoL, but if the interest is there, I don't have a problem with it.

Look at the HoN division we had like. what 7 people to start with look at it now. LoL can do the same thing. theres always potential to grow. It's F2P so I think theres gonna be a fairly decent user base. I say we give it a shot with whom we have now and see how we can get it to expand.

Well, since the game left beta and launched, it has been majorly successful and has won multiple awards. I know that I have a large user base that I play with (a standard 5 I play with, along with a whole group on a Vent channel that I frequent that I could probably conscript!) and there are tons of regular users that play game after game every day.

I am fairly far along in my experience with the game and have found that it is constantly growing and will remain FREE to play, although there is some pay-only content that doesn't effect the all over game play, but does make your characters look cooler. Skins ftw.

New characters can be bought with "Influence Points" which are earned through regular game play, or you can drop some $ into paypal and buy a charrie outright.

I think Savage has a point in saying that a division grows as the game grows. If we build a division and the leadership is there, then we should be pretty successful! Games like HoN and LoL tap into a different user base than other STEAM games, so it'd be a smart move to expand into these areas and gather users from the other internets.
