[IAM] Diablo III Branch Announced

I'd like to announce our first official [IAM] Branch - Diablo III.  AAADrummer will be the Branch Boss for the Diablo III Branch.  He's been working for us for a substantially long time on getting this Branch started and effectively triggered the re-organization, which we made him help with and jump through many hoops along the way.  He has helped us redefine the entire Branch Boss selection process as well as Branch creation.

Please join me in congratulating Drummer and welcoming the Diablo III Branch to official status.

IAM Fantasy Football League Update by Chanuk
The first annual fantasy football league has drafted, kicked off, and shown who really are the losers of the league.  Below is a roster of how everyone drafted and worked the waiver wire.
Roster List :http://games.espn.go.com/ffl/leaguerosters?leagueId=846342

As league manager, I've put together an intro to the best and worst teams of the league.

Team to Watch: 56k Dial-Ups ([IAM] kymcman)
Three weeks into the season, our leader, [IAM] kymcman, is undefeated at 3-0.  His amazing waiver-wire pickups has been the key to his success in his weekly match-ups.  In week one, he dominated The Invisible Green Men (Jason) 108-75 with Matt Ryan and Frank Gore posting amazing numbers.  Those two players would again help him push ahead of Team Running beating him 85-65.  Last week Kyle trampled, humiliated, and completely ass-boned Team AHP with a final score of 115-50.  Kyle did not hold back on AHP at all and may have scarred the birth of AHP's second child (which also occurred during this week).  I anticipate that the 56k Dial-Ups will go 10-3 on the season.  There is a slight possibility for the Dial-Ups to go undefeated, but Kyle has too much talent on his bench and will likely have some problems determining weekly match ups.

Team that Sucks: Team Running ([IAM] Running)
[IAM]Running has been plagued with bad luck, bad players, and being a Canadian.  Running is 0-3, running the worst possible team and just sucking harder than a $2 lady of the night.  Thinking that he'd actually be relevant in this league, Running followsAmerican football and roots for the Green Bay Packers all the way from the Sault (pronounced SOO).  In week one, Running got owned by the only woman-managed team in the league, Team XXX (owned by Karina) by a score of 73-108.  Running would then post scores that are downright embarrassing leaving 30 possible fantasy points on his bench each week.  Cheer up Jordan, there is no possible way you can lose all of these games, right?.....right? And at least you aren't as bad as these guys:

Someone please help him. We posted an ad on Craigslist on his behalf: http://soo.en.craigslist.ca/act/3303971599.html

CaptainWTF's Sweepstakes Debacle by kymcman
Have you seen this debacle with CaptainWTF and his TigerDirect.com Sweepstakes win?  Cody first posted that he had won a sweepstakes on June 13th.  On September 5th, he was told it would be shipped out by the end of the week and he has YET TO RECEIVE HIS COMPUTER.  TigerDirect.com sweepstakes fail, anyone?  Be sure to keep informed of this news on the thread here.

Anomaly and I would like to announce the reorgnization of the [IAM] Clan.  With this reorganization comes the debut of the [IAM] Family and the re-introduction of Branches (formerly Divisions) to our formal structure.  This change has been in the works for quite some time and we seek to combine the successes and lessons learned from our various steps along the way.  Taking the best pieces of past structures, preserving certain elements, and highlighting the "family" feel that makes [IAM] unique, we feel that this structure will allow for a much easier recruiting process (and subsequent larger member base) while preserving the core of [IAM] in a unique way.

Below you can see the new [IAM] Clan Family Tree, which explains the organization of the new [IAM] with one Branch shown.  Becoming a Branch Boss will be much more rigorous than it used to be, but for a good reason; Branch Bosses will now have significantly more autonomy in their day-to-day Branch activities and will effectively control the recruit/membership to the [IAM] clan.  However, members brought in through recruitment will belong to a specific Branch and have to meet that Branch's guidelines.  It is only when they become eligible that they can potentially be elected to the [IAM] Family and join the "core" group of [IAM] for as long as they desire.  Once you're family, you stay family.

Feel free to ask questions and we will do our best to answer them.

Serious Business Points are now gone.  This will be it's last hurrah:

I've implemented a new feature that will allow you to like posts.  This will display on the board as well as for personal stats.  Find the button on each post/topic and like away.  Your profile will show how many overall "likes" you get.  So effectively, it's serious business points in a way, but with post-by-post content.  The stats section of the boards will also show the most "liked" people and most "liked" posts.  Thus, we can always find the gems.

I hope you enjoy, we could use some more board interaction.
