Not into kimbers, but it looks nice.

Also, .45 man.. That style gun has been around for 100 years for a reason.

Probably my favorite gun I own is a 1911, but I carry a 9mm every day.  .45 is a proven manstopper, but IMO, with decent expanding hollowpoints and above all good shot placement, 9mm is a fine SD round.  .40 is kind of a compromise round, I have nothing against it, nor do I think it is magically the best of both worlds.

Allows for a larger bullet capacity. Makes the grip a bit wider I think though, maybe not in all cases. Not an expert.

Most police forces use .40cal though. Likely a good reason for this. (Perhaps I'm bias because I want a .40cal myself...)

Agreed.. My favoriate gun I own is my 1911.

I'd Cary my H & K p30 all day I just like my .40 better.
