First NBA championship in franchise history!  Go MAVS!



Ok, I know I know.  The majority of NBA fans were not necessarily cheering FOR the mav's as much as they were cheering against their opponents, but hey we'll take it.

Dunno if we could have done it without the Cleveland fans behind us!
I'm not sure if the Cavs can back up Gilbert's guarantee and win a championship before the heat do, but the Mavericks at least delayed it a year.



Probably the best quote I saw on a write-up was "When they send those Heat Championship T-shirts to poor kids in Guatemala, they need to come with a warning that they are a choking hazard."

I don't generally care for basketball, but this makes me happy.

Mostly because I lived in Dallas for 5 years and always wanted to see the Mavericks win something...and partly because I'm glad to see LeBron hang his head in shame :)
