Canada has the most expensive cellphone bills

My friend posted this on facebook. It's not a very professional report, but interesting all the same. I've bitched about our plans here before. Things are on the way to being fixed, but it takes time.

Mine is 105.64 a month. QQ more you cheap bastards. :P

Yeah, cell bills in Canada do suck. I was paying around 75 a month before on a very basic plan. Luckily that is fixed now kind of... (Bell loves to screw everyone over). Not only that, but the coverage in Northern Ontario sucks! I go a little bit out of my city sometimes and BAM no service.

If only you knew what an AVERAGE was.... And ours is still higher. Mine frequently goes over 100 for hidden fees, taxes on top of that, random long distance calls that last maybe a minute or two.

105 a month gets me 400 minutes a month, anytime anywhere, unlimited text and data (5gb, but it's rarely enforced as long as you're not 20+), unlimited verizon to verizon, and free nights (6pm) and weekends.

Verizon is truely unlimited data. Its only a rarely enforced 5gb cap if you pay for tethering or on a wireless card.

yes... because a phone means they'd be by your side at all times.... oh wait, were that true you would not need a phone. So yeah... you make no sense.


Also, 'twas a joke. I say the same to my friends who don't have cellphones and are much more difficult to get ahold of. And yes, it is different than back in the day when we had no cell phones, our society has become reliant on them as a norm.
