Server online list

I think we should have a server online list. on a block somewhere on the front page. Minecraft CSS, NS2 etc every server we have, have some sort of something that tells us whether its online or not.

Meaning that we cannot see it then? And therefor the suggestion still stands so that we might be able to see who is currectly playing on the server with us.

I mean people can set up their steam accounts to play the non-steam game so it shows up on the front page.

That's the easiest way to see people that are playing - at their choice.

My point is for us to know definitely if the mc server is down or something I have hlsw on my phone I mean I can see 24/7 the status of our css server

It's minecraft.  The only way to see if it's up is to try to play on it.  It's not like CSS where there is actually a query interface that is reliable enough to report whether or not the bloody thing is working.

But sometimes we can't tell whether its minecrafts srrvers or our own. I give up on this idea already because I already see it going nowhere

Not everybody has steam setup with minecraft, so it would only cover a few of us. This is not a complain, I'm just bored and pointing out the flaw that it only covers those that set up minecraft with steam, and not everybody on the server at the time.

even then that doesn't mean that they're playing in our server. or they could be TRYING to connect or for all we know just having minecraft idling, not like it rapes our system resources unless it crashes.
