I got my new PC!

So yesterday afternoon when I got home I had 3 big boxes sitting on the bed waiting for me...  (Thats Right!)

Here it is:
Motherboard: ASUS Crosshair V Formula AM3+ AMD 990FX
Processor: AMD FX-8120 Zambezi 3.1GHz Socket AM3+ 125W Eight-Core Desktop Processor
Video: EVGA SuperClocked 015-P3-1582-AR GeForce GTX 580 (Fermi) 1536MB
Ram: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600
Hard Drive: Western Digital Caviar Black WD2002FAEX 2TB 7200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5
Power: CORSAIR Enthusiast Series CMPSU-850TX 850W
Case: COOLER MASTER HAF 932 Advanced Blue Edition


First off, BULLSHIT nothing is color coded and the Motherboard manual was very generic.
So I hope I installed everything properly.

Next I found out that I never purchased a cd/dvd driver... LOL so now I can not install my OS (Win 7 64bit) LOL I feel stupid and its coming tomorrow in the mail.
Long story short I feel as if I am missing something and I am second guessing myself on the installation.

Personally I like seasonic power supplies. 

Nice build btw. Although you kinda screwed yourself on the CPU. Bulldozer chips aren't doing so hot. Perhaps microsoft will release another "Fix" that actually fixes the performance problems. We shall see. Nice build anyways.

As for HDD, should've recycled the one in the current PC and spend the money you spent on a 2tb WD black drive on a 128GB SSD. but meh.

Can't re-use the current Hard drive because I am keeping the old pc for my wife. but meh!

That's quite the case you've got there (and do I spy a logitech G330 headset hanging off the edge there?)

That's a nice build (though I generally stick with intel processors, but that's just me)  How's it running everything?  Are you completely devouring games left and right?

This thing kills every game I have. I am more than happy with it
In SWTOR I am getting 70's in open land & 40's in PvP
In BF3 I am getting 90's

I haven't even overclocked this thing and I am not sure I will have to at anytime soon.
