No operator error. initially it wasn't allowing me to update I had to gradually increase . i went from 1.1.5 to 2.2.1 to 3.1.3 didnt make the jump from 1.1.5 although its interesting because once I put 1.1.5 back onto the ipod which was what was already on it, it allowed me to update to 2.2.1 through itunes when it didn't before.
