They just nerfed it in the latest patch.

And I love the fact that if you stand on the tank turret when it fires, it launches you the same direction that the shell was fired. Pretty far too.

The helis confound me, and I think if I were to find a way to switch my controls on the sticks around it would make more sense. I keep pitching it when i want to just turn.

Yeah the Helios are tricky, but just gotta remember to counter the roll with the other stick while you turn.

What do you mean? are you talking about the power or yaw?

On PS3, the controls for Helios and Jets are separate..just as they were in BF2 for PC too, if I remember correctly.

Yes, left stick is Yaw and right stick is Pitch&Roll, I believe that is called "Legacy setting" in controls, not sure if it's the same on PC. I'm also not flying with inverted controls like I would normally for flying, for whatever reason it just feels awkward trying to fly like that in this game.

Rethinking stuff, I think I had mixed up what which stick did what initially lol, Roll is Left stick, Pitch/Yaw is Right. Sorry about that confusion there, Fig . Occurred to me earlier tonight while flying the Huey, that I mixed up terms.  I should know these things anyway I work on and around aircraft daily.

Also, surfing the interwebs, it appears that utilizing the "Legacy" Controls for aircraft is the easiest way to fly. Helicopters you have to learn to be gentle and slow with adjusting tilt(roll) while turning or strafing as to not over do it and you find yourself descending rather quickly into the ground.

I will take snipe you any day DJ lol or do what I can do disable it all day long. Played some Co-op this afternoon, flying is easy peasy! Now that I got the Helios all figured out.
