Flying
« on: October 28, 2011, 02:11:00 AM »
Currently I run keyboard for flying and then hop on mouse for when im actually dogfighting. Mouse is not the best for dogfighting but it's better for my accuracy.

Tomorrow I'm gonna see if BF3 will support a ps3 controller and see how well that does.

Anyone got tips or tricks to the planes/choppers?

logitech attack 2 - $20 from hastings, works well

Saitek wal-mart special - $20  it works too.  of the 2, I'd recommend the logitech, but the saitek is a 4 axis, which is pretty cool.

If you don't have a joystick, I'd recommend sticking with your keyboard for flying choppers. W/S - Throttle, A/D - Yaw, Up/Down Arrow - Pitch, Left/Right Arrow - Roll. I've used that in almost every game I've flown a chopper in and it works pretty well.

I will take you up on this when I finally get BF3/Computer. I always loved being in the planes.

PS3 controller works goooiod. I just gotta remember what button does what. Keyboard doesn't work too well with the planes and choppers for precision. Only flying.

Allright, so any tips for that pesky plane that you just can't shake off your back.

Also I have no idea how to properly fly choppers.
