Honestly they should change the lighting to be more dynamic.  work in less lighted up places such as in dark maps or inside structures. But in places such as outside where the sunlight is shining you're not going to be blinding people like that.

pisses me off when they try to make games realistic then do shit like that.

You're right. it's like a small light blinding you in the dark. In the daylight, it barely affects you because eyes aren't dilated.

I have several times, guys running around with the lasers on, they act the same way as the flash lights only it's a red light in your face.
