i have to get a new microphone because the one built into my laptop doesn't work.

i just read that as "I need to get a new microwave" and my mind thought of a solution of "Man, you can get them for like $30 now to heat up that can of spagettios" rather than thinking "That is ridiculous, he must have written something more logical"

Best hope that can of spagettios is taken out of the can first, or you'll need yet another new microwave.

Wait, microphones are cheap too!  Heck, decent gaming headsets are under 40 if you aren't too picky!
