Regarding Images on the Forums

Dear all,

Up until this point, most people who have been making images in posts have been uploading them to an outside source (such as imageshack), and then linking to them.  While this works, it has the downside that we cannot rely on this content to always be available (remember the epic card collection anyone?).  Therefore, I have made a modification to the forum to allow easier attaching of images to posts.  Below the reply box in the "Attachments and other options" section, the "Attach:" box has gotten a little bit more complicated, but also much more versatile.  I have also greatly expanded the size limits for images uploaded.  In the previous case, any attachment to a post is simply displayed at the bottom of the post as an expandable thumbnail or link.  Now, it is possible to attach an image to a post and place it inline with the text of the post, just as if one were linking to an external image.  However, with the attachments section, all of the images uploaded will be uploaded to the iam-clan.com server, and therefore always be available.  Attached inline is a picture of what the new system looks like, I strongly encourage people to use it instead of outside image hosts!
