1.  Your first name
Tim

2.  Your handle (your name as it is in-game, should also be the title of the thread).
Kalmah

3.  Your previous handles/nicknames.

The ones I remember, Blood Dragon (CS), [c4]Reed[us] (dod 1.3b-3.0)/[43WB]Reed[AA] (dod v1.0), [USN] RaptoReed (Xboxlive), [USN]Reed (DoD), didn't change to Kalmah till I joined [IAM] the first time in the good ole days, ran with that on multiple games and still currently do for the most part. Kalmah means "To The Death" or "To The Grave" which is fitting for any the FPS games I play...it's also one of my favorite bands. Reed happens to be my last name and RaptorReed was a random nickname I picked up on my first deployment back in 05'-06'.

4.  Where you are from.
Half and Half, Grew up in Kirkland, WA till end of 99' then moved to my dad's in New Berlin, WI where I went to high school and eventually signed my life away to the military.
Now I'm back to living in the Northwest in Oak Harbor, WA where I'm stationed now, previously stationed in Norfolk/Virginia Beach, VA for 4 years. PST rocks!

5.  How old you are (birthday).
25, 09/29/1986

6.  What games you play and how much experience you have at them.

CS - Started in Beta 6 back in 99', don't play much anymore as most of the servers I used to reg on are gone.

The Specialists Mod - yes there are still some people that play it, something to past time

NS - I suck at it now, but used to be pretty decent back in the day.

CSS - Was apart of the first public beta test when Source came out originally. Got HL2 and CSS for free through my video card (Radeon 9600se) wayyy back in the day.
Reg on HSXclan - Seattle GunGame and [SuCa] Office 24/7.

DoD - jumped in on beta 1.3b, dod_hill, dod_bridge, dod_omaha were the most popular maps at the time. Kustom Kettle/Mayberry Games, and Speakeasy.net servers were  the place to be.  Then Came Allied Army [AA] and [IAM] way down the road, before those two clan I regularly pubbed on AD[NsG]'s server that DaBytch and Phoneman (gladiator arena server admin) were admins on.

Battlefield Series - all the way back to 1942 and Desert Combat mod prior to DC becoming BF2. Still playing BF2 even now, registered as Kalmah back in June 05'. So every other Kalmah on there is an imposter! Favorite DC server was Chicago's Fragfest. BF2 you will find me on a Karkand only server most of the time.

I've done a few clan matches here and there, but mostly just pub, with work and other things going on that's about all I have time for these days. Most my experience is going to be primarily in CS and DoD, have been working on my BF2 skills mostly now. Primary classes are Resupply, medic, and assault.

7.  What your hobbies are.
Wrenching on cars, specifically older Mitsubishis and getting into the nostalgic import community. Right now I'll be building my car for Autocross (attacking cones on pavement) and Rallycross (attacking cones in the dirt), not so much for the dragstrip like a lot of my friends are. To me with working on cars and going to car events/meets, photography goes hand in hand with it, looking to pick up DSLR camera when I return from deployment to really get further into it. Outside of cars it's beer pong fridays, Rocking out to metal on a daily basis and straight up chillaxing whenever possible.

8.  What your profession is.
Aviation Machinist Mate 3rd Class Petty Officer, P-3C Orion Powerplants and Fuel System Technician, US Navy. I've worked on F/A-18E Super Hornets (Single seat) and the Steam Catapults on a carrier before working on the vintage P-3s.

9.  How you found [IAM].
I was in Allied Army at the time, then we became friends with the IAMers and some of us broke off from AA, joining IAM.

10.  Any unique skills you have that you'd be willing to help community members with (tech. help/server-saavy, etc.).
Tech savvy? eh I mostly know enough to get me by, now if it were car stuff, I'd be able to help some.

11.  Any additional information that you feel like providing (stories about your life, anything!)

When you're having a bad day, get a crazy straw and suck it up!

I'm pretty good friends with a Tim Reed that goes to my school. Fixing aircraft should be in your special skills, just in case any of us break our military grade aircraft...

I don't touch Helios, though Apaches are sick and I did get to see those on a regular basis while I was in Afghanistan. I stick to fixed wing aircraft, right now on Sub Hunter P-3C Orions (turboprop motors), I want to go back to 18s, P-3s are just so boring. Some think it's cool to get paid for doing absolutely nothing, but that is only fun for so long then you're bored and thus why I opted to go to Afghanistan.

So what are you planning on running then? Older Evo since you like your Mitsu's so much. Doubt you're running two cars for dirt and road are you?

I was building up my Galant VR4 and using it for Autocross, but those plans changed due to being tired of continuously trying to fix all the cancer on the car,so it's getting scrapped. I've just been slowly continuing to build the motor out of that car to go into my 1976 Galant Coupe, which once that's running and driving I can move onto converting the leaf spring setup to a 4 link and get into drifting. I don't care much for Evos, I'll probably get another Galant VR4 down the road.

The bottom end of the motor is already stroked 2.3l and the head is getting its' share of machining done currently. Just got to get all the small stuff together and find a Supra transmission and rear end as the last of the drivetrain stuff needed to complete it.

You're gonna part a Supra to a Galant???(Albeit a very nice Galant.)
Why not just work on a Supra. Those things are beast.

Been trying to find a good cost IS/GS 300 or a Soarer cuz of that engine.

PS, Supra Mark....?
PPS, got pics?

That would be the easy way out, there's no fun in that, plus I like my Mitsus. It's all very doable, the '76 is rwd and with the usage of starion motor mounts the 4G63t is a bolt in affair. Drivetrain part? Pretty simple too, I'll be using a w58 trans with a Custom Bellhousing (there is a guy that makes them), the only tough parts will be sourcing a mk1 or '70-early 80s Hilux rear end with the 3.9 rear differential. Wiring just requires patience and time, I can get a shop to build me a driveline, using a Evo 8/9 16g turbo and manifold makes life easy. Curb weight of the car is only 2100lbs, so I don't have to worry about shedding any weight really.

I'll put some pics up later.
PS don't underestimate the 4g63t motor, while the 1j and 2j are beastly inline 6cyls, the 4g63 is the same for inline 4cyls. It's the same motor used in Evos 1-9, 87-92 Galant VR4s, Eclipe/Talon/Lasers.
