What is my name (in game and out?)
My name is Amy! I am better known as beloveddoll (or beloved, or doll, or girl, or some other plainly hilarious sexist name that comes around in chat. Whee!) in game and am pleased to make your acquaintance. I've only had this one handle for the life of my gaming career, which only started 5 years and 5 months ago when I started dating AGTMADCAT. Prior to that, my handle was suggested to me by a friend while trying to come up with a good Livejournal name. Beloved because my name, Amy, means beloved in Latin, and doll because that's what my friend used to call me.

Where do I live?
I reside in California, but near San Francisco rather than crappy, smoggy and blonde Los Angeles. So, that's PST for all you looking for a time zone! Indeed, my time zone is a rarity amongst the [IAM] population, but AGTMADCAT and I have made it a point to fill the clan with mates from the West so we can have people to play with after work.

How old am I?
I recently turned the ripe old age of 26, which is kind of old in regards to the usual clan mate, but that's okay. Hooray 26!

What games do I play?
I am the division leader for the League of Legends division here at [IAM]. I play a bunch of LoL, trying to hit at least one game a day, but have recently found myself distracted by other social games like Alien Swarm and NS2. I can't really claim to be *good* at any games, but I do rather like the turret defense ones. I also like games where it doesn't matter much if you die...because I die a lot, all the time. But, like I said, I've only been playing games for a few years, mostly with Madcat's influence. Before that, I watched my brother play video games while growing up. So, if you need a good spectator? I am your man! Or, woman! Or whatever!

What are my hobbies?
When I am not futzing with games, I spend my time being creative. I was classically trained in opera, but have not had a singing gig (aside from work!) in a really long time. But, my house mates will tell you that I turn nearly everything into a song!
I got my BA in Creative Writing, so I tend to scribble nonsense in notebooks or blogs or forums sometimes. I've recently got it in my head to purchase a Macbook so I can record some sweet tunes, but I have been strictly forbidden from any apple computer by my lovely boy. :-/
I enjoy cooking, too! I've been making tasty meals from random website recipes and then taking macro shots with my camera and posting them to make people jealous.
Oh, and I'm also planning a wedding. That takes up a ridiculous amount of my time. Oi.

What do I do for $?
I work in a Kindergarten through 8th grade school in their music department as a Music Aide. I sing songs with the little ones and I teach our middle schoolers how to compose in Garageband. So, I get a pretty wide range of music teaching experience, which is always good. I'm also their resident stage manager and program director for their annual musical. I have a geek love for all things theater, so I do spend my time doing that too.

How did I get here?
AGTMADCAT is an old time member of [I AM] (with the space!) and got me involved with the TF2 division after making some friends and finding my gaming style. I quickly rose in the ranks to a chief recruiting officer and did a lot of Public Relations stuff. Now a days, I am safely tucked into my LoL division, but I dabble in HoN and NS2. I'll give just about any game a try, though! And that's what I love about my [IAM] family so much; I am given a safe and supportive environment in which to play new games and learn. The atmosphere is not one of competition (though we do like to win!), but of a social family who enjoy completely bombing a mission almost as much as being successful.

How can I help you?
I am a killer resume editor and I love love love editing papers and giving feedback. I seek out new music all the time, so I can offer up suggestions for new things to listen to. If you're ever in California, our couch is always open and I will feed you amazing food! I love helping people out, whether it be with words or with actions, and I am a good listener. Madcat says I am as good with people as he is with numbers. And he can recite Pi for a long, long time. :-)
As far as tech savvy things I can help with, I love graphic design and I've done my time with Photoshop and can say that I've come out on the other side ALIVE! So, hit me up if you need some designing done - either with a new forum icon or signature or photo editing.
